Our laboratory brings together several disciplines- behavior analysis, behavioral pharmacology, neuroscience, comparative cognition, ethology- to study basic questions about learning, memory and conceptual behavior. 

     A common theme is the use of odor stimuli in rats to take advantage of their highly developed olfactory abilities.

     Key research topics in the lab include models of working and episodic memory, concept learning, and extinction: relapse, resurgence, and renewal.
